Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta, two of Mexico’s most popular tourist destinations, are set to host Restaurant Week 2019, a food festival that spans over the course of 3 ½ weeks and includes a number of Puerto Vallarta restaurants and gourmet eateries throughout the region. This incredible culinary event, organized by Vallarta Lifestyles, is one of the largest and most encompassing food events in the region; bringing unique culinary experiences to locals and visitors by making the diverse Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta restaurants more accessible to everyone. If you’ve never taken advantage of Restaurant Week, make sure you’re in town from May 15th to June 10th, when you’ll find the exquisite flavors of award-winning restaurants at discounted prices.

As one of the most impressive Mexico events, Restaurant Week 2019 by Vallarta Lifestyles will include special menus prepared by nearly 60 different Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta restaurants that range from some of the region’s top dining spots to those just starting out. Each participating restaurant will offer innovative three-course meals with multiple options for each course at reduced prices. Guests can expect to find superior culinary experiences that highlight the very best of each restaurant’s signature cuisine.

Vallarta Lifestyles Publishing Group came up with the idea for this Puerto Vallarta food festival after several food events had been met with success not just in Puerto Vallarta, but all over the world. Since 2005 when Restaurant Week began, a number of the city’s most coveted restaurants and others from Riviera Nayarit have joined the list of participants making it so that the culinary event has extended its reach far beyond just the city of Puerto Vallarta. Last year’s edition of Restaurant Week, which has backed by the Riviera Nayarit Visitors and Conventions Bureau since its beginning, brought about record numbers of participants, totaling 59 restaurants to choose from for all those who look forward to the food festival.

Due to its success and enormous popularity, Vallarta Lifestyles has decided to extend Restaurant Week 2019 to include an additional 10 days. In the past, the culinary event spanned the last two weeks of May, but because of its increasing popularity and the vast number of restaurants that have joined the ranks, this year’s Restaurant Week in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit will be extended until June 10th, giving visitors and locals even more time to check their favorite restaurants off the list or to try others they’ve never had time to try before.

In addition to the extended dates of the popular food festival, diners will be pleased to find that instead of the previous two price categories, this year’s food event will have three. Diners will now be able to find delicious three-course meals for $269, $399, and $466 pesos. The prices depend on the restaurants, but regardless of how much it costs, diners can fully expect to delight in memorable culinary experiences that will leave an impression on their palate.
