Ways to use your Resort Credits | Villa del Palmar Flamingos

You've probably seen in our promotions that we offer resort credit as part of some of our all-inclusive vacation packages. If you’re not familiar with the term or don’t know exactly what it means, have no fear! We’ll answer the questions, “what is resort credit?” and “what can resort credit be used for?” while staying at Villa del Palmar Flamingos.

Resort credit, as the name implies, is like money, but it can only be used inside the resort. Yes, the concept seems very obvious, and you may wonder why you would need resort credit, especially at an all-inclusive resort, however, there are extra hotel services and amenities outside of what is offered in some all inclusive vacation packages.

As you would expect from this large chain of luxury hotels, The Villa Group Resorts implement methods that are most comfortable for our guests. Don't think that when you arrive at Villa del Palmar Flamingos we will give you a series of coupons or "Villadolares" like Monopoly money. This would be impractical as you could lose them or get them wet.

When you stay with us, any additional fees are charged to your room and settled at the end of your stay. At the time of your check-out, your resort credit will be added to cover some of your consumption, but it is important to clarify that it only applies to certain extra hotel products and services.

What can resort credits be used for?

Usually, hotels that offer all-inclusive vacation packages have amenities and services at an additional charge. Luxury resorts of a particular caliber often provide guests with a range of premium food and beverages at an extra cost, as well as exclusive services to make their stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Among theextra hotel services at Villa del Palmar Flamingos are some selected spa services, laundry, and dry cleaning services, in-room phone calls, and Kids’ Club.

Premium Food and Beverages

Due to the high-quality food and ingredients that we serve at The Villa Group Resorts, some items on our menus are at an additional charge, such as fine cuts, lobster, and other specialties. Some premium drinks and bottles of wine are not part of the all-inclusive, however, they may be available at an extra cost.

Premium items and services are clearly noted on our menus and price lists. But the good news is that these premium food and beverage services allow you to turn your resort credit into cash. Take advantage of this and treat yourself!

Spa Services

Another way to pamper yourself is with a massage, treatment, or service from Tatewari Spa. It's no coincidence that the luxurious spa at Villa del Palmar Flamingos is number 1 in Nuevo Vallarta on Tripadvisor. We are talking about a true oasis of healing and renewal for the body and mind. You can use your resort credit on selected spa services. If you have any questions about these services, you can check with the reception area at the spa or our concierge department.

Hotel Extra Services

In addition to all the above, you can also take advantage of your resort credit and use it on laundry and dry cleaning services, in-room phone calls, and fun for your kids at our Kids' Club. Although there are some restrictions, there aren’t too many. Resort credits cannot be used at Delicatessen, Palmita Market, for room service, nor to cover in-room mini-bar consumption, and/or as a tip.

Other points to consider are that unused resort credits are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash. And neither are you able to save it for your next visit as it is only valid per stay, per reservation, and per room.
